English Practice - Day 2
Hi ChatGPT, I’m back!
I’m sorry I missed our English practice yesterday. I worked overtime last night, and after that, I did my regular workout for about an hour.
It was too late to chat with you by then.
Could you help me correct my message? Let’s start today’s English learning!
Q: What kind of workout did you do last night?
How did you feel after that?
A: I followed a Keep video to do some traditional Chinese exercises, like Ba Duan Jin (Eight Brocades), patting therapy, dampness-removal routines, traditional health-preserving movements, and neck-shoulder exercises.
I’m not exactly sure how to translate all of them into English.
I work out almost every day. I always feel relaxed and happy after exercising — that’s why I’ve been able to keep it up daily.
(These routines help me stay healthy, reduce stress, and sleep better.)
Q: How long have you been practicing these routines?
Have you noticed any benefits over time?
I’ve been keeping up these routines for about four years. They’ve made me much healthier — my heart and lungs are stronger.
I don’t feel tired after a full day of work anymore, and I feel full of energy throughout my body.
These routines also help me stay in shape and keep a slim figure.
A routine is something you do regularly in the same way, usually every day or every week.
My morning routine includes washing my face and doing Ba Duan Jin.
I try to stick to my workout routine.
Over time means “as time goes by” — it describes things that change slowly, not immediately.
Over time, I’ve become more flexible.
You’ll feel the benefits over time if you keep doing it.
